Hello out there,
It is my prayer that you prosper, be in health, even is thy soul prospers.
Today I want to talk about some of the queries that have come up concerning the pandemic that was wrought by the plague known as Covid 19. There are so many questions that are racing through the minds of Christians and non-Christians. There are some that wonder “Is Covid 19 the judgment of God on the world?” There are also those that believe that the Covid 19 was not sent by God. Lastly, there are many who question whether or not oligarchs and scientists who control the pharmaceutical companies have purposely spread the plague known as Covid 19 in hopes of reaping the benefits of mandatory vaccinations? My first word of advice to the believers who have submitted to the lordship of Christ is to not fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.” To the unbelievers, you have also come to the right place. The truth is available to you as well. In John 14: 6, Jesus said, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.” Knowing these things to be true, I quieted myself waiting on the Lord for his guidance.
In a quiet voice, the Lord instructed me to read one of the prophets that I do not read often, and that prophet was Micah the Morashite. Each of the questions that we have concerning this pandemic were found in this book of the Bible. Question #1 Is Covid 19 the judgment of God. Firstly, it is necessary that we understand the context of the book written by Micah. The book of Micah was addressed to the two Hebrew nations which was Judah and Israel. It was not written to Gentile nations. However, the Book of Micah is one of the books that describes the ways in which judges His people. Micah is also necessary in this context, because he describes the reasons why God judges His people.
Micah tells of God’s Judgment of the Priesthood
Micah shows the ways God punished the children of Israel. It also shows how He judges the government of His priesthood and the government. Micah shows the way in which the Christ will destroy heathen nations in the Armageddon. What does Micah tell us concerning the judgment of God?
1) The Lord will hide His face from the prayers of the wicked.
Micah 3: 4 KJV says,
[4] Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
2) Micah also teaches us that the false prophets will be judged.
Micah 3:5-7 KJV says,
[5]Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that g bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. [6] Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. [7] Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
3) Micah 7:2 says, “The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
This particular verse teaches us that good men will perish from the earth during the judgment of God. The good men are perished not because of their evil. The good man is perished from the earth as a punishment to the wicked. God uses this method as a means of removing the men of wisdom from the earth as a punishment to the wicked which leaves the wicked to the self-destruction of their own devices. Many people are confused as to why so many Gospel preachers and teachers are dying in this time. I lend encouragement in telling you that some of the preachers and teachers who have perished have perished as a punishment to the wicked by removing men of wisdom from society. Also, there are preachers and teachers who God has judged to be wicked. This is why it is critical for men not to judge. God knows all, and He is the judge of the hearts of men.
God’s Judgment of A Society
Micah 6:11-15 KJV says:
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights? [12] For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. [13] Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins. [14] Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword. [15] Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and o sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
4) If you have been evil and wicked in your doing, God will not count you as pure.
5) The liar will receive the judgment of God
6) The rich men men who are full of violence will be judged by God. Micah 2: 1-3 speaks of the evil that violent rich men commit. Micah 2:1-3 says, “Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is the power of their hands. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil” The word “Woe” is a warning of God. God says, Woe to the rich people who create evil plans for material gain. Woe unto that rich man or rich woman who oppresses people and robs them of their inheritance. God’s judgment is upon you rich man, and you will not escape. God’s judgment is even upon your family, and there is nothing you can do in your own might to escape. To the Black man and the Latino man who has built reputation by murdering your own people in the slums and ghettos of America, God’s judgment is against you. It’s time to repent and turn to God.
7) God says in Micah 6: 13, that he will smite the wicked with sickness.
8) In verse 14, He said that you shall eat, and not be satisfied. That sounds a lot like Covid 19. People are eating but they cannot smell or taste
9) In the time of Judgment, God promises death to those whom he smites with the plague. He also promises that the ones who flee from the plague will die from the sword.
10) God expresses through the prophet Micah that diseases and plagues will not be the only sign of judgment, but the sword is coming to punish the wicked. The sword represents war.
This passage reminds me of Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and so many other men who believe that they are untouchable. They love riches, and they will violate anyone and anything to accomplish what they intend to accomplish. During the days of Trump's presidential campaigns there was so much violence and violent rhetoric against anyone who disagreed with his agenda. No wonder such a great judgment has come during the term of his presidency.
Our next verse is Micah 3:1-4 KJV, and it reads,
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes a of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? [2] Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; [3] Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. [4] Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
1) Those who hate the good and love evil will receive the judgment of God. Those who tell men its okay to be women will receive the judgment of God. Those who tell women that its okay to be men will receive the judgment of God. According to the Bible, same-sex marriage and same-sex intercourse is the sin of sodomy. All manner of evil will be judged by God. Every sin of idolatry, blasphemy, lust, greed, and pride, will be judged by the God of heaven.
2) Those who murder and tear apart the body parts of human beings will receive the judgement of God. Those who tear apart body parts and cast them into a caldron will receive the judgement of God, and He will not hear your prayers.
Barack Obama, Planned Parenthood, pro-choice doctors, pro-choice public health professionals and so many other members of society who believe in pro-choice will receive the judgment of God. Because you are murdering living human beings. They are innocent lives who cannot fend for themselves. Unless you repent and turn from this evil, the judgment of God will be upon you. And when His judgment comes, He will turn His ear away from your prayers.
I remember seeing a video where the doctor was performing an abortion. The doctor ripped the baby's body apart limb by limb. They claim that they are a resource to protect the girls who will still get abortions illegally if legalized abortionsarenot readily available. This is an evil thing in the sight of the Lord, and He's going to judge you. It has been reported that the plague known as Covid 19 has killed more back people than any other ethnicity. Do you find this reality to be coincidental knowing that we as black people are eliminating and aborting our babies four times the rate of white people. According to the American Journal of Public Health, we are killing our babies four times more than white people (Jones & Jerman, 2017). I say to black people and any other race other people who are committing this great sin against God, we must repent. We must turn away from this evil way of living. We must turn from our wicked ways, and submit our lives to the Jesus of the Bible.
The Bible says in John Chapter 3: 16-18 says:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The Bible also says in John Chapter 3 verses 35-36:
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on Him.
The Judgment of Idolotry
If you are one who worships idol gods, it's time for you to repent. If you make graven images, Christ will punish you for that. Woe unto you in all the Catholic and Coptic churches, Jesus the Christ wants you to remove all of your graven images. Repent and turn away from this evil, because the day is coming when no man can repent. Ultimately, Jesus the Christ will beat down all graven images and heathen cities in the Armageddon. These are not my words though I declare them. I declare them, because it is the Word of the Lord.
Micah 5:13-15 KJV
Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. [14] And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. [15] And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, o such as they have not heard.
Conclusion
We must repent and turn from this evil in the name of Jesus. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV says,
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The Lord Jesus is longsuffering to us. He does not want us to choose the way of death. He is calling to us and waiting for us to repent and turn from our wicked ways. God wants us to turn to Him. Jesus wants us to turn to Him. I will leave you with this last verse from the book of Micah to encourage you that all hope is not lost. Micah 6: 8 says, “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? If we treat our Lord justly, He will turn away His wrath. If we treat our fellowman justly, the Lord will turn away His wrath. If we choose to love mercy and walk with God, the Lord will turn away His wrath. If we choose the mercy of God who is Jesus Christ, we are choosing to walk humbly with our God. If we do these things, the Most High God will turn away His wrath.
I know that there are those of you who would criticize this preaching, in that it is mostly preached from a book of the prophets. I would urge you to cross reference this particular message to the exact words of Jesus Christ himself in the twenty-fourth Chapter of Matthew. Matthew 24: 3-44 says,
[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? [4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. [5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. [6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows. [9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. [10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. [12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. [14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. [15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) [16] Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: [17] Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: [18] Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. [19] And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! [20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: [21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. [23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. [24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [25] Behold, I have told you before. [26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. [27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. [29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. [31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. [32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: [33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. [34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. [35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. [36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. [37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. [43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. [44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. …
May God add a blessing to the readers, hearers, and doers of His holy Word.
